Unpaid care work is fundamental to human wellbeing and yet is inequitably shared, with a disproportionate burden placed on women and girls.
Inspired by this year's Gender Equality Week theme, Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities, Care Canada, Plan International Canada, Save the Children, and World Vision Canada, will be discussing the need to recognize, reduce, and redistribute unpaid care work, present success benchmarks for male caregiver engagement and reflect on challenges and lessons learned from international programming.
The discussion format will be conversational, with time for Q&A. This session includes English and French simultaneous interpretation.
